Whipped Kool-Aid: A Colorful, Creamy No-Bake Dessert You Didn’t Know You Needed

Ingredients

  • 1 packet unsweetened Kool-Aid powder any flavor you love!
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 –2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • Sprinkles or crushed candy for garnish optional but recommended!

Equipment

  • Chilled mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer (hand or stand)
  • Measuring spoons & cups
  • Spatula or Spoon
  • Serving bowls or dessert cups

Method

  1. Prep the Mix:
  2. In a large chilled mixing bowl, combine the Kool-Aid powder and granulated sugar. Whisk well until no clumps remain and the mixture is evenly combined.
  3. Whip It Good:
  4. Pour the cold heavy whipping cream into the same bowl. Add vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk. Using an electric mixer, whip the mixture on medium-high speed for 3–5 minutes, or until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to over-whip!
  5. Taste Test:
  6. Take a quick taste — if you want it sweeter or creamier, add another 1/2 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk and whip briefly to combine.
  7. Serve in Style:
  8. Spoon the whipped Kool-Aid into individual dessert cups or a large serving bowl. Top with colorful sprinkles, crushed candies, or even sliced fruit. Serve immediately for the fluffiest texture or chill for 15–20 minutes if you prefer it a bit more set.
