Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 cups cooked white or brown rice
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook ground beef until browned; drain excess grease.
  2. Add diced peppers and onion; sauté 4–5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin, garlic powder, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Cook 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add cooked rice and mix thoroughly until coated and heated through.
  5. Garnish with green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Day-old rice gives the best texture. Drain beef well. Adjust spice with red pepper flakes or sriracha. Excellent for meal prep and leftovers. Substitute other proteins as desired. Serve immediately for best results.
