- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment.
- Beat softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
- Stir in caramel bits and crushed Butterfinger.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons onto sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers look slightly soft.
- Cool on the sheet 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Do not overbake—the centers should still look soft. Let cookies rest on the hot sheet to finish setting. Crush Butterfinger into mixed sizes for best texture. Dough can be chilled for thicker cookies. Store airtight; freeze well. Best slightly warm.
