- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar.
- Add yogurt, warm water, and oil. Stir until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
- Cover and let rest 10 minutes.
- Divide dough into 8–10 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball into a ¼-inch-thick circle.
- Heat a dry skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Cook each flatbread 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown spots appear and the bread puffs slightly.
- Brush with melted butter if desired. Stack and cover with a towel to keep soft.
- Serve warm.
