Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet


  • 5 lbs NY strip steak
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 lb. Baby golden potatoes quartered or halved
  • 2 tbsp Butter unsalted
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Rosemary
  • 3 Cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How To Make Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet :

Over medium-high heat, put the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan.

Add the potatoes, herbs, and as much salt and pepper as you like. Cook the potatoes for 3–5 minutes, turning often, until they can be pierced with a fork. Don't touch the potatoes.

Add the second tablespoon of butter and the strips of steak to the same pan. Cook them with only a few stirs until they reach the doneness you want.

Put the potatoes back in the pan to warm them up, and add salt and pepper to taste.
